Robert W. Lamond
Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Lamond is also Chairman of the Board of Humboldt Capital Corporation and Sharon Energy Ltd., both listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Lamond is a geologist, educated at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to managing Diaz, Mr. Lamond was President of Czar Resources Ltd. from 1974 to 1995, and President of Orbit Oil & Gas Ltd. from 1990 to 1998. Both companies focused on the Canadian natural gas business and were listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Brad R. Perry
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Perry joined Diaz Resources as their Chief Financial Officer in August 2006. Prior to joining Diaz, he was the CFO of Corridor Resources Inc. for over eight years. Mr. Perry also held financial positions with PanCanadian Petroleum and LASMO plc. In addition to Diaz, Mr. Perry is the Chief Financial Officer of Sharon Energy Ltd., a public oil and gas company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Perry received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (1989), concentrating on finance and computer science, from St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Mr. Perry is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Charles A. Teare
Executive Vice President, Director

Mr. Teare is also Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Humboldt Capital Corporation, a public oil and gas investment company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, as well as serving as a Director of various junior resources companies. Mr. Teare, a chartered accountant, was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Orbit Oil and Gas Ltd., and its predecessor companies, from 1977 to 1998.

Donald K. Clark
Chief Operating Officer and Vice President Operations, Director

Mr. Clark is also Vice President of Humboldt Capital Corporation, a public oil and gas investment company, and Sharon Energy Ltd., a public oil and gas company, both of which are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, as well as serving as a Director of Highview Resources Ltd. Mr. Clark, has 23 years of oil and gas experience, received a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, 1977, and began his career in the oil patch with Texaco Canada.

Raj K. Agrawal
Director

Mr. Agrawal, an engineering graduate from the Indian School of Mines, 1964, and the University of Alberta, 1968, is the founder and President of NRG Engineering Ltd., a petroleum engineering consulting company. Since 1978, Mr. Agrawal has served and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of several oil and gas companies, both public and private.

John G.F. McLeod
Director

Mr. McLeod, a professional engineer, is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of California Oil & Gas Corp, a public oil and gas company. Mr. McLeod holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and has over 30 years of technical and management experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, both domestic and international.

Robert L. McPherson
Director

Mr. McPherson, currently Chief Executive Officer of Paris Energy Ltd., a private oil and gas company, received a B.Comm. (with distinction) with a focus in finance from the University of Calgary. Mr. McPherson has close to 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has served as a member of the Board of Directors on a number of other public companies.

Clive M. Stockdale
Director

Mr. Stockdale, currently Vice President of Canaccord Capital Corporation, Canada's largest independent investment firm, received a joint honours degree in philosophy/economics from the London School of Economics. With over 34 years of experience in the oil industry, Mr. Stockdale, an investment analyst, specializes in the financing of junior oil companies.

Allan R. Twa
Director

Mr. Twa, a partner with the Calgary law firm of Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer, received his LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 1970, was admitted to the Alberta bar in 1971 and received his LL.M. from the University of London in 1972. Mr. Twa is a director of a number of other public companies.
